From Kemer to Phaselis, how to get, bus, tour
Phaselis is an ancient coastal city just 13 km south of Kemer. Founded by settlers from Rhodes in the 7th century BC, it became a busy port with temples, an amphitheatre, and stone roads that still remain. Surrounded by pine trees and the sea, it’s a peaceful place to visit — and you can even swim in its quiet bays.
Getting to Phaselis from Kemer
If you're wondering how to get to Phaselis from Kemer, you have a few options. The easiest way is by minibus, or “dolmuş”, which leaves regularly. The ride takes around 20 minutes and drops you near the entrance. You’ll then need to walk about 1 kilometre through a shaded pine forest — a calm 15-minute stroll.
If you're staying in Kiris, buses to Kemer are also available, and from there you can connect to the dolmuş heading south. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or join a guided sightseeing tour.
Phaselis Tickets and Entrance Fee
The entrance fee to Phaselis is 10€, and tickets are available between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes, as the site is large and there's plenty to see at your own pace.
Visit with a Tour
You can also see Phaselis as part of a combined day trip. Our Olympos-Chimera-Ulupinar jeep tour includes Phaselis and other sites in one route. You’ll visit Olympos, the natural flames of Mount Chimera, and enjoy a meal in Ulupinar village — all without having to plan each stop yourself.
Kemer and its surroundings are full of places that mix history and nature. Whether by dolmuş, taxi, or tour, visiting Phaselis is a great way to spend part of your day near the coast.
